Balloon Basics Guide

Entertainer balloons are long, thin balloons made of latex, also known as twisting balloons. Formerly called pencil balloons (named for their elongated shape), they were seen at carnivals and festivals and used by buskers. Fast forward the present: entertainers are not just for entertaining anymore! These versatile balloons are included in temporary sculptures, everyday décor, and balloon deliveries. The most common way to inflate these balloons is with an electric inflator ENTERTAINER BALLOONS

or a hand pump. Some artists have mastered the method of mouth blowing, which requires practice, endurance, and strong lungs.

COOL TIPS Store latex away from bright lights and heat. Heat can oxidize latex, dulling the luster and color and causing it to and deteriorate.
