Floral Department – Air-Filled display
Ingredients Needed: 1. Air-Filled tube display with flat base 2. 36 air-filled balloons
3. Signage (included with display). Be sure the correct sign is used, “Air-Filled Balloons 2.99 Each” (see illustration #1).
Setup Protocol (Option #1): • Attach sign with clip included with the display.
• Place the display on top of the pod with potted plants (See illustration #2) Avoid positioning the display where the balloons will block the view of the Floral cooler. • Fill each tube in the rack with about 6–9" air-filled balloons (36 total balloons). Use balloons that have everyday or seasonal messages that coordinate with the surrounding plants on the display. Setup Protocol (Option #2): • Attach sign with clip included with the display. • Place the display on top of the Floral counter (See illustration #3). Allow room so your back slatwall is still visible. • Fill each tube in the rack with about 6–9" air-filled balloons (36 total balloons). Use balloons that have everyday or seasonal messages. Selling Tips: • Encourage your customers to upgrade their plant purchase with a message balloon. Balloons communicate a clear message with plants that are given as gifts. • IMPORTANT – Consumers will add balloons to their plants (this is a good thing). BE SURE ALL YOUR CASHIERS AND MANAGERS ARE AWARE THEY SHOULD SCAN THE BALLOON AS A SEPARATE PURCHASE. BALLOONS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE PLANT. • Be sure each air-filled balloon has a scannable retail price label on the stick.
